JBL D44000 is the first stereo speaker system designed for home use back in 1957, about 1000 built altogether (production ceased in 1983). A privileged few still have one. 

Well, one excellent specimen is in my office-room throughout 2024.and 2025, paired with a rare H. H. Scott 399 Stereomaster. Thanks to Dimitar Mirov-Brand.
